Velma Ann (Miller) (Lammie) Weldon passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on Thursday, August 9th 2018. Loving mother of William (Deborah) Lammie, Robert (Nancy) Lammie, Thomas Guy (the late Sharon) Lammie, Scott (Susan) Lammie, devoted daughter Kimberly (Joseph) Fritz, and James Weldon. Beloved grandmother of Stephanie, David, Amy (Michael), Kelli (Ryan), Katelyn, Michael (Alexandra), Ryan, Cory (Elizabeth), and devoted grandson Zack. Great-grandmother of Dominic, Adrianna, Hadley, Elodie, Lainey, Hudson, and Sorin. And loved by her devoted doggie, Gizmo. Preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Richard Lammie and James Eugene Weldon and her parents, William Henry and Elizabeth Myrtle (Simpson) Miller. The family would like to thank the caring community of Cranberry Place for their love, support and care over the last six months. Family and friends are welcomed on Friday, August 10th from 4 to 8 pm and Saturday, August 11th from 12 to 2:30 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A Blessing Service will follow in the funeral home's chapel on Saturday at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Velma's honor to Autism Speaks at www.autismspeaks.org.
