Valetta Belle Goodwin's Obituary
Valetta Belle (McLaughlin) Goodwin, age 86 of West Mifflin, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Grandview Estates of Elizabeth. Wife of the late Kledious S. Goodwin, Jr.; loving mother of William (Susan) Goodwin of Canonsburg, Linda (Ronald) Phillips of Elizabeth, Patricia (Michael) Arnold of Haydentown; proud Grandma of William (Jamie) Goodwin, Jessica (Frank) Messina, Tiffany Phillips (James Bates), Janine (James) Bower, Nina Phillips, and Amanda (Ryan) Kindervater and cherished great-Grandma of Morgan, Callie, Gracie, Bella, Ryder, Talan and Kason; sister of the late William McLaughlin, Donald McLaughlin and Shirley Balas.
Val was a very happy homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Val's family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Grandview Estates of Elizabeth and OSPTA Hospice for their loving care.
Family will be receiving friends on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc.,301 Curry Hollow, Pittsburgh from 2 until time of funeral service at 6 PM. Interment will be private.
