Timothy R. Lavery's Obituary
Timothy R. Lavery, age 65, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026. Born on April 28, 1960, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Vincent and Elizabeth Lavery.
Tim, affectionately known as "TL," spent his years expressing his creativity and skills as a contractor within the construction industry. A motorcycle enthusiast, he dedicated much of his time to mechanical work, embodying the spirit of freedom and adventure that two wheels can bring.
Tim's personality and infectious sense of humor made him a beloved figure in the lives of many. He had a unique ability to connect with his nieces and nephews, often found wrestling or sharing in spirited conversations that left them laughing. He was truly one-of-a-kind and had a gift for making everyone feel at ease - never a stranger to anyone.
He is survived by his brother, Jack (Cathy) Lavery; nephews, Michael and Greg; nieces, Lynn and Katie; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Lavery; and many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Lavery.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 9:00am to 10:00am at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236, followed by a Blessing Service at 10:00am in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Inurnment will be held following services at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 718 Hazelwood Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217.
