Timothy A. Crain's Obituary
Timothy Allen Crain, 66, of South Park, went to be with the Lord at Jefferson Hospital on March 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was just two days shy of his 67th birthday, which he would have celebrated on March 28. Timothy was born in McKeesport Hospital on March 28, 1958 to George and Frances Crain.
He was a dedicated and hardworking individual, spending over 40 years as a proud member of the Carpenter's Union. For 30 of those years, he worked as a carpenter at the University of Pittsburgh, where his skill and dedication were greatly appreciated. He also earned a two-year associate's degree in Construction Supervision, a testament to his commitment to his craft.
A devoted husband for 41 years, Timothy was married to his beloved wife Robin, who was by his side throughout his life's journey. He was a loving father to his three sons, Nathan, Aaron, and Jordan, and a cherished grandfather to his four grandchildren, Lake, Lincoln, Cohen, and June.
Outside of his work, Timothy was a true craftsman with a passion for woodworking, house renovations, and working on cars. One of his lifelong dreams was to build a Shelby Cobra, a project he often spoke of with great enthusiasm. He enjoyed spending time with his family, creating cherished memories on vacations, and upholding family traditions. Known for his remarkable ability to remember important dates and milestones, Timothy loved celebrating family birthdays and events. His loyalty, determination, and "do-it-yourself" attitude were qualities that endeared him to all who knew him.
Timothy is survived by his mother, Frances; his wife, Robin; his sons, Nathan, Aaron, and Jordan; his sisters, Carol and Christine; and his grandchildren, Lake, Lincoln, Cohen, and June.
He joined his father, George; his brother, George; his sister, Mary-Kay; and his son Brandon in Heaven.
A funeral service to celebrate Timothy's life will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and share in the joy of his life.
Timothy's legacy of hard work, loyalty, and devotion to his family will live on in those who had the opportunity to know and care for him. "Well done, good and faithful servant." Matthew 25:23
