My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends. May you find some comfort in the promise found in Revelation 21: 3-4 and 1 Thessalonians 4:14. Knowing that there is an opportunity to be reunited with loved ones.

Tim became known in our neighborhood for his walking. He walked along South Park Rd. and all the way to the South Park Mall and Giant Eagle and back -- and forther for all I know. His journeys brought him by our church, and he must have read the church sign on the road, and one day he stopped in. Tim liked church. He came to services and he came to our \"Dinner-for-a-Dollar\" on the third Thursday of the month. He was a character. He used a long walking stick, his hair flew this way and that, and he gave out opinions and responses in a gravelly voice. It was just a few years until disease visited him and I began to offer to pick him up or drive him places. That's how I got to know him. He talked readily and with authority about local politics, philosophy, and religion. He had substantial experience as a journalist and photographer.. He had some difficult times, but he came through them, and his perceptions seemed acute and accurate. And he seemed to have learned, and even mellowed in his later years, although he sometimes got agitated; I thought that if I asked questions gently and listened patiently, his reflections gave off real wisdom.
Prayers for peace and comfort offered to you, Bruce and Jayme - and to your families. Lots of memories of you guys, Timmy and your folks - you were all such an important part of my life in BP. Every time I visit home, I still expect to see Tim high-tailing it to Ruthfred. Thinking of you...

We met Tim at Community of Christ when he would stop in for an event we were having or to attend service; and sometimes just to say \"hi\". He was very independent, and always had something on his mind to share. We will miss him. Condolences to his family.

With deepest sympathy and a word of comfort in your time of sorrow. The Bible gives us a promise that death will be no more and that very soon, \"no resident will say, \"I am sick\". Isaiah 33:24.
