Thomas W Chapman's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas W. Chapman, age 78, of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, on April 26, 2025. Tom lived a full and vibrant life, marked by devotion to his family and service to his country.
Tom proudly served in the Air National Guard, demonstrating a commitment to his country that was a testament to his character. He later established a successful longstanding career in sales. However, it was in his role as a husband, father, and friend that Tom truly shone. He was a cherished partner to his beloved wife, Peggy, and a devoted father to their family, including his grand-dogs, whom he loved wholeheartedly.
Tom is survived by his dedicated wife Peggy (Ruhling) Chapman; children Kristen (Mike) Mutschler and Tom Chapman Jr; siblings, Sue (Andy) Dzurenda, Robbie (Tom) Paff and Al (Linda) Ruhling; many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents; aunt and uncle who raised him; son-in-law, Mark Griener and sister-in law, Hannah Ruhling.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation hours, which will take place on April 30, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on May 1, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at which time a blessing service will be conducted by Reverend Thomas J. Burke in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
