Teresa R Horan's Obituary
Teresa Rae Horan, age 62, of Jefferson Hills peacefully went home to the Lord on February 6, 2023 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Born on July 1, 1960 in Friendsville, Maryland: Daughter of Robert & Louella Hinebaugh. Beloved wife of Dr. Edward J. Horan; devoted mother to Kayla (Mike) Bryan, Michael (Tori) Horan, and Dr. Jason Horan (Jenn); cherished Nunni to Leo & Lucy Horan and Baby Bryan; loving sister of Cathy (the late Hank) Scofield, Donna Hinebaugh, and Kimberly Hinebaugh; adored aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her brother Gregory (Kathy) Hinebaugh.
Teresa dedicated her life to her family, volunteering, and her church, reflecting her selflessness and love for others. She was passionate about nature, admired animal life and was a recycling enthusiast. She enjoyed staying active with friends by playing pickleball, biking, and going to the gym. Above all else, she valued spending time with her family, finding joy in the little things in life and cherishing those moments that often go unnoticed.
Despite her difficult days, she always found the strength to help with her kids and her grandkids. Wishing for more time with her loved ones, she fought tirelessly through tough days, never once complaining about her battle, and always had a smile on her face. However, she will not be remembered by her sickness. Instead, she will be remembered by her kindness, altruism, and everlasting love.
Friends and Family will be received Wednesday from 6-8 pm and Thursday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. 301 Curry Hollow Rd Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Friday at Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Thomas á Becket 139 Gill Hall Rd, Jefferson Hills, PA 15025. Family ask for everyone to meet at church.
