Age 86, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019. Wife of the late Frank M. Flosnik, Jr.; mother of Denise (Tom) Staude and the late Michele Flosnik; grandmother of Ryan Staude and Dylon Winfield; sister of Yves (Connie) Sylvain and Lucille Sylvain; daughter of the late Bernadette and Joseph Sylvain of Thetford Mines, Quebec; also survived by sister-in-law, Shirley Flosnik; nephews, Tom and Michael Flosnik; great-niece, Ciara; and great-nephew, Liam. She was an elementary school teacher in Canada before moving to Pittsburgh, and was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish. Her friends at Norbert's Personal Care Home will miss her greatly.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, January 16, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 17, 10 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Susan's name may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or AHN Hospice.
