Stephen "Steve" Volgen, age 75, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026.
Preceded in death by his wife Kathleen; devoted father of Crystal and Anthony and grandfather to Abel Volgen.

Loving brother-in-law to the late David (Kim) Swatko, Sharon (Dave) Dojack, Judy (the late Ron) Devey, and Kimberly (John) Stevens. Uncle to many nieces and nephews and friend to Eddie Walker.
Steve was a loyal maintenance man for 28 years for Life'sWork (formerly VRC) and loved to stay busy with side jobs for friends. He took pride in his work, including revamping the family home and front porch. Steve was a resilient Steelers and Penguins fan, watching every game he could. He also loved playing softball and eventually became a bowler. You could find him on the dance floor during a good Polka, giving an extra kick as only he could. He will be missed and loved by many.
