Stanley E. Wilmot, age 95, of Pittsburgh, entered into eternal rest on November 24, 2019.
Stanley is survived by his beloved wife Dorothy of 75 years; Two Daughters, Patricia W. (Thomas) Grden, Barbara W. (George) Guillaume; Son, Stan A. (Janet) Wilmot; Grandchildren, Carolyn (David) Baker, Brian (Cori) Guillaume, Tricia (David) Hepler, Debra (Jason) Amos, Barbara (George) Grisnik, and Jeremy Wilmot; Great-Grandchildren, Tyler, Jessi, Melissa, Amanda, Anthony, Noah, Anni, Stephen, Dawson, Marshall, Madison, Natalie, Nathan, and Joseph; Great Great-Grandchildren, Sierra, Dylan, Triston and one on the way; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his young Daughter of 15 months, Betty Jo, Father, George H. Wilmot, Mother, Mae King Wilmot, Sisters, Minerva, Dorothy, Virginia, Marie and Brother, George.
Stanley served his country honorably as an Administrative NCO in the European Theater of Operations. He earned the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal. He also loved music and was a regular follower of Community Band South and Washington Symphony Orchestra.
Stanley was a classically trained tenor vocalist who performed professionally in his younger years and was the ultimate Blackjack Dealer for Talent Network, an entertainment booking agency.
Stanley loved dogs and had many in his lifetime.
He was a gentleman who had the most beautiful blue eyes, a gorgeous head of white hair, and married his high school sweetheart Dottie and loved her with an undying love.
A Memorial Service will be held December 21, 2019, 2:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel. 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
