Shirley J. Scott's Obituary
Shirley J. Scott, age 89, of South Park, passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 17, 2020.
Shirley is survived by her children, Ralph (Kimberly) Scott III, Shari (the late Robert) McAninch, Ruth (Kenneth) Bowser; grandchildren, Ian Scott, Colin Scott, Isaac (Meagan) McAninch, Rachel McAninch, Elijah Bowser, Hannah Bowser; sister-in-law, Judith Elk; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Ralph Scott, Jr.; parents, Max W. and Katherine B. (Brown) Sonnleitner and brother, Kenneth Sonnleitner.
Shirley spent her life raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, playing Dominoes and various card games. Each of her grandchildren, as well as many others, were lucky enough to receive a cross stitched baby blanket that was made with love.
Spending summers with her husband at Chautauqua Lake was one of her favorite pastimes as well as baking and gifting Christmas cookies.
