Shirley A. Bristow's Obituary
At home with her family by her side, Shirley A. (Halleran) Bristow courageously ended her battle with MDS on May 1, 2026.
Loving mother of James (Suzanne) Bristow, Heather Bristow and Colleen (Robert) Bristow- Graham. Beloved Ba (Grandma) of Cullin, Laurel, Devlin, Roman, Rocco, Lucia, Kian and Keira. Cherished sister of Kathleen Mahon, and many nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence "Red" and Jean Halleran and her siblings Patricia Richardson, Clarence "Thomas" Halleran and Alice Halleran.
Shirley was fiercely independent, value driven and steadfast her whole life. She loved gardening and prided herself on maintaining her yard, even during her illness. She leaves a legacy of teaching those around her to work hard, speak up and never settle. But most importantly, she was and always will be our Mommy.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation from 3-7pm on May 3, 2026 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
There will be a private Blessing Service for her children and grandchildren.
Interment will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Park.
