Shirley C. Becker's Obituary
Shirley C. Becker (Cain), age 88, of South Park, PA died on Friday, May 10, 2024.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 63 years William J. Becker, her son Paul (Cara) Becker, daughter Donna (Mark) Bursick, daughter Cindy Leichter, grandchildren Andrew, Alexa, Samantha, Nicholas, and Jeff and her great granddaughter, Riley.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ellen and George Cain, four sisters, two brothers and her son-in-law, Art Leichter.
Shirley grew up in Lincoln Place, graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School and had a career in municipal government. In her free time she enjoyed playing cards and bowling but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A blessing service will be held in the chapel at the funeral home at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Shirley may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
