Sherry Lynn Hathaway's Obituary
Sherry Lynn Hathaway, age 64, of Pittsburgh, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 6, 2026. She was born May 1, 1961, to the late Frank and Nancy (Powell) Hathaway.
Sherry is survived by her brothers, Mark A. Hathaway and David B. (Dana) Hathaway; her nieces and nephews, Moriah (Greg) Davis, Alyssa Hathaway, Zachary Hathaway, Kayla (Joshua) Ferris, and Kali Hathaway; her great niece, Ellarose Davis; and her aunt and uncle, Judy (the late L. Bruce) Stittsworth and Jim (Trish) Hathaway. She is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Joshua Hathaway.
Sherry grew up in Bethel Park and graduated from Bethel Park High School and ICM School of Business.
She will be remembered for her compassionate heart, deep faith, and desire to encourage others. Sherry created and led an online FaceBook community called Faith Book Page, where she shared messages of hope, prayer, and her love for Jesus with many people. Despite health and mobility challenges, she remained devoted to uplifting others, offering love, kindness and encouragement to all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Jefferson Memorial Park.
A Memorial Service followed by a luncheon in honor of Sherry will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at The Bible Chapel in McMurray, PA (time to be determined).
