Sherri Lynn Rappold's Obituary
Sherri Lynn Rappold, born February 22, 1965, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2023. Sherri was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend who lived her life with unparalleled joy and warmth. She was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her.
Sherri was a devoted mother to her children, Dylan and Kortney Rappold, and fiancé, Max Dixon. She is also survived by her sister, Susan (James) Carloss, her nephew Jesse Dudley, her great-nieces Danni and JessLynn, great-nephew Floyd, and her mother, Margaret Steadman and husband Jeffrey Rappold. Sherri was preceded in death by her father, Richard Poling, her stepfather, Donald Steadman, and her nephew, Brian Dudley.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Sherri was a staunch supporter of Pittsburgh sports, especially the Steelers. Her love for her city was only matched by her love for crafts. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, always the life of the party, her laughter and positivity were infectious.
Sherri also had a special place in her heart for animals, particularly her cat, Kiki. She shared many cherished moments with Kiki, who was a constant source of comfort and companionship to her.
Sherri's passing leaves a void that can never be filled. However, her spirit lives on in her loved ones, in the crafts she created, in the sports she cheered for, and in the memories she left behind. Her life was a testament to the power of love, joy, and resilience.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, November 13th from 1:30-2:30 for visitation at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
We remember her as a woman who loved deeply, lived passionately, and left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she touched. Sherri Lynn Rappold will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who had the privilege to know her.
