Sarah Elizabeth Scott's Obituary
Sarah Elizabeth Scott born May 15, 1989 passed peacefully into her next life in the loving arms of her parents and surrounded by people who loved her. Sarah's life was not easy, and one no one would choose, but she carried a light with her wherever she went. We will carry that light forever in our hearts. Sarah taught us that there was nothing more important in the world than just being there, and that a smile and a laugh made everything okay. The world will not be the same without her and it is also forever changed because of her.
Sarah is survived by her parents, Mark and Julia Scott, her brother Zachary, and sister Melissa, and all of her loving extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation from
5:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A service in honor of Sarah will be held at 10:00 am in the chapel at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
Donations to the McGuire Memorial Home, where Sarah was surrounded every day with warmth and love, are requested in lieu of flowers.
