Sara (Vukovich) Bracalilly
of West Mifflin, formerly of Willock and Hays, peacefully and gracefully passed on August 22, 2016. Beloved wife of the late John Bracalilly; loving and amazing mother of Debbie (Bob) Niccolai and Denise (late Roger) Bracalilly Stultz; proud grandmother of Mark Niccolai and Nada (John) Niccolai, caring great grandmother of Skylah and Mauro. She was born December 31, 1921 and was the loving daughter of her deceased parents George and Danica Vukovich; big sister of John (Dolores) Vukovich and the late Rose (Red) Guerra, the late Zora (Victor) Bonomi, and the late George (Pat) Vukovich; favorite aunt of Jim (Pat) Guerra; supportive sister-in-law of Dolores (James) Holub, and the late Angelo, Frank, Annie, Gabriel, Rosie, Albert and Lucille. Special Aunt Sara to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and friends. A great, supportive, encouraging friend and neighbor to everyone she met. She worked hard all her life - at the Bride and Formal in the Jenkins Arcade, Montgomery Ward at Century III Mall, marketing research, and other interesting jobs, and volunteer service. Over the past 40 years, Sara combined her passion for people, fun, and travel by coordinating and leading bus trips and cruises for many friends and relatives. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Cathedral and a member of Holy Spirit Seniors, Holy Angels Seniors, St. Elizabeth Seniors, and South Park Seniors. Sara was ever grateful for her beautiful life full of hard work, trips, parties, homemaking, cooking, knitting, celebrations, and enjoying time with family and friends. Thank you to the Maditz family, Cindy, Medi Home Hospice, and Home Instead caregivers. Friends received Wednesday, August 24, 2016 and Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. Internment at Lebanon Church Cemetery.
