Also A Blessing to us . She Greeted Everyone that Entered our Church She Had a Special Gift That God Has Given Her and That was to Spread the Gospel To all Christian’s. Sandy was incredible and loved on my family when we lived in Pittsburgh. I remember texting her something going on with family and she immediately called to talk with me. Another time at a Mom’s Bible study, she gave us an Ace card. It was a reminder that we have to play our best, so eventually our King will be seen by everyone. I still carry my ace with me.

My favorite memory of Sandy will always be of how I felt when I was around her … no matter the circumstance or occasion. She would look at me with those incredibly beautiful large eyes, radiating genuine love & pure joy, giving me an embracing hug & welcoming me into her world. And yes, I know she did that with everyone which made her even more extraordinary :) Sandy was the first to greet me 10 years ago at North Way & my life changed for the better in too many ways to count. I am incredibly grateful to God for our time together!!

I didn’t know Sandy as a close friend, but talking with her at church and seeing how she made everyone feel welcome, with her caring and warm smile, she was truly a blessing to Northway and all who knew her! . I didn’t know Sandy well. She was our next door neighbor. How lucky were we as first time home buyers. I’d often see her coming in from a long day or coming out to get the paper or mail. If we happen to be out at the same time or my kids were out she’d always have a smile and friendly wave no matter the time or temperature. You’d never know the struggles she went through the way she came and went each and every day. We’ll miss you.

When I was staying In Pittsburgh with my baby daughter because my husband was fighting for his life in the hospital and it was far from our home, Sandy generously watched ny daughter for me several times so that I could be in the hospital with my husband. She didn’t know me - I was a stranger who needed help. I will never forget her kindness.

Sandy personified the joy of the Lord as her strength, & now her joy is fulfilled in glory. The Lord used her joy, wisdom, humor & guidance in my life in innumerable ways & her witness to the power of the Gospel and grace of God touched so many lives. Words utterly fall short, tears are many for sadness for Bob, the girls & grandkids here, and tears of joy that she's not suffering anymore in the presence of her Savior. Until we meet again in paradise, my friend.
