Sandra Lynn Charalambous' Obituary
Sandy wanted to announce that she will be on a long vacation. No, not to Siesta Key, but to heaven. Sandy was loved and cherished by many, but most of all her husband, Andy. Sandy and Andy had 43 years of wedded bliss and 52 years together. She was Andy’s rock, his world, and his best friend.
Sandy was most proud of her daughters, Amanda and Carrie, her son-in-law Robert and her granddaughters Lola and Ruby. Sandy spent her days being the best Nana to her two biggest blessings. Sandy filled their days with fun, laughter, dancing, and a lot of candy! She will be dearly missed by her furry grandchild, Meadow, who always enjoyed all of the treats her Nana fed her.
Sandy is survived by her brother Robert (Cathy) Newbould. Sandy was a beloved Aunt to many, but had a special bond with her nephew Marc, his wife Kristen and their children Kyla and John. Sandy will be dearly missed by her many friends and loving cousins.
Family meant a lot to Sandy, and she would say “we might not have it all together, but together we have it all.” We are sure heaven will be playing the movie “Pretty Woman” and listening to “I am woman” when she gets there.
In lieu of flowers, please take your family out to dinner and tell them you love them or donate blood in Sandy’s honor to UPMC Shadyside hospital.
“I could’ve missed the pain, but I’d have to miss the dance.”
