Ruth was the beloved wife of Charles Jay, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage before his passing.
Ruth's primary vocation was that of a homemaker, a role she cherished and took great pride in. She created a home filled with love, warmth, and faith, always ensuring her family was her top priority. The joy she found in her family was evident in the way she spoke of her children and grandchildren, always beaming with pride over their accomplishments.
She is survived by her devoted children, David (Susan) and Diane, and her adored grandsons, Patrick (Lauren) and Brendan (Maddison). She also leaves behind her dear brother Harold (Sandra), along with nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her deeply.
Ruth was an active and respected member of her community. She served as a past President of the Christian Mother's Board, based out of St. Valentine Church, a role she held with great honor and commitment.
