Ruth Schwarzkopf's Obituary
Ruth D. (Ziegler) Schwarzkopf, 86, formerly of South Park, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024, at home with her daughter Carol in Myrtle Beach.
She is the daughter of the late Harry and Josephine (McNally) Ruffner. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Bob Schwarzkopf, and brothers, Harry and Ed Ruffner. She is survived by her loving children, Charlene Dehn, Cliff (Deb) Ziegler, Cindy (Brendan) Atchison, Christy Morris, Craig (Angie) Ziegler and Carol (Bob) Nesky; grandchildren, Ryan, Kevin and Ashley Dehn, Chad Ziegler, Chelsey Miller, Brett Ziegler, Tara and Brendan Atchison, Zack Morris, Kristina Homan, Frankie Ziegler; and great-grandchildren, Kendyl, Blayke, Mason, Taylor, Summerlyn, Colby, Shadyn, Paityn, Jake, Charlie Jo, Skyy and Joseph. She is also survived by siblings, Lois Kostelnick, Betty Sauer, and Doris Schultz.
Ruth was a gifted poet and the poems she wrote for all of us throughout our lives will be treasured forever. You couldn’t leave seeing her without a bag of treats. Ruth was loved and treasured by all who knew her.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 2 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home,Inc. 301 Curry Hollow Road Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
