Rudolph F. Mudrich, age 83 of Pittsburgh, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the VA Medical Center - Pittsburgh.
Born March 20, 1932 in Pittsburgh, he is the son of the late Nicholas and Julia (Horniciak) Mudrich.
Rudolph was a retired steel fabricator and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was Catholic by faith. He was a member of the Mt. Lebanon American Legion Post # 156. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, archery and musket shooting. He was a Girl Scout Leader for many years and enjoyed wood working and home improvements. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Rudolph is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth (Gilligan) Mudrich; daughters Patty (Bill) Kellington, Betty (Mike) Lenkoski, Nancy Mudrich, Mary (Steve) Zutich, Martha (Ray) Tedford; sons Rudy (Rhonda) Mudrich, Nicky Mudrich; grandchildren Matt, Trevor, Jessica, Andrew, Marissa, Zac, Brandy, Samantha, Madison, Miranda, Mia, Tre; and great-grandsons Jacob and Logan.
Friends will gather on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 1:00-2:00 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home - 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pleasant Hills, PA 15236 A blessing service will be held at 2:00 in the Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow in Jefferson memorial Park.
Memorial contributions in Rudolph's name may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
