Roy and Nancy lived across the street from our family when we lived on Manorview Drive. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer neighbor than Roy who would advise me and help me on different projects over the years.
I would ask Roy to borrow his digging iron and he came with it to help.
We develop a strong friendship over more than 20 years that continued when he and Nancy moved to South Carolina. He will be missed by Ginny and I.

The children of the McGivern family grew up together as cousins who shared picnics, parties, vacations, holidays and just about everything kids could do in those days. I remember spending summers at Aunt Marg and Uncle Roy’s farm. They were always my favorite aunt and uncle, so I was frequently around Roy, Tom, Jimmy and Bonnie. It is so sad to lose members of my extended family. I hope you will be comforted by the memories you have of times with your Dad, the oldest brother of my dear cousins. Love to all of you.
