Rosina A Fix's Obituary
Rosina (Bogesdorfer) Fix, age 93, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on January 11, 2026.
Rosina was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on April 8, 1932. She was the daughter of Wilhelm and Anna Bogesdorfer.
Rosina was an avid gardener, finding joy and fulfillment in tending to her plants and flowers. A member of St. John Mark Lutheran Church in Homestead, she previously attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Pitcarin, where she fostered lasting friendships and embraced her faith as a central part of her life.
Rosina is survived by her children; Mark (the late Sherrie) Fix, Martin (Linda) Fix; granddaughter, April (Adam) Poleski; her nephew, Richard (Pam) Gamret and their children;, Christian - Po; as well as many other family members and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Frank E. Fix; fiance, Robert C. Barna; her sister Wilma Gamret; as well as her parents.
The family would like to issue a special thank you to Honey and Louis Vecchio for the unwavering support of our Mother.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 16th at 1P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Park, 401 Curry Hollow Road Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Guests should meet at the funeral home at 12:45pm.
