Rosemarie Simeone's Obituary
RoseMarie “Rose” (Gallo) Simeone, age 86, of Brentwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 9, 2021.
Wife for 50 beautiful years of the late Al Simeone; beloved mother of Tony (Mary Dru) Simeone and Mary Ann Dougherty; treasured “NaNa” of Briana (Russ) Creely, Shannon (Mike) Maggs, Katie (Michael) Vizzerra, and David (Sarah) Dougherty; cherished “Great-NaNa” of Olivia, Talia, Sophia, and Elena, and “Mom” to her many “adopted” daughters and sons (you all know who you are) whom she loved so dearly and have blessed her life so richly. She was preceded in death by her parents Salvatore Gallo and Antonietta Mastroianni.
“I want to leave a legacy
How will they remember me?
Did I choose to love?
Did I point to You enough
To make a mark on things
I want to leave an offering
A child of mercy and grace
Who blessed Your name unapologetically
And leave that kind of legacy…
Well done, good and faithful one.”
Friends will be received on Sunday, September 12th from 12-4 and 6-8 P.M. and Monday, September 13th from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 12 P.M. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. Burial will take place at Jefferson Memorial Park.
