Rosemarie Frances Ransom's Obituary
Rosemarie Frances Ransom age 82 of Eighty Four (formerly of McMurray), passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Richard David Ransom of 52 years; mother of Phyllis (Mark) Donoghue and Barbara (Tim) Forsha; "Nun" of Tamara (Lenny) Brown, Joseph (Ressa Throckmorton) Donoghue, Sean Donoghue, Tim Forsha, Jr., Schuyler Forsha, and Carissa Forsha; Great-"Nuna" of Aiden Brown, Scarlett Donoghue, and Wyatt Brown; sister of Theodore (the late Janet) Baumgartner.
Rose was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard David Ransom; siblings, Frank (Shirley) Baumgartner, Jr., and Elizabeth (Edward) Steinmetz; and her parents, Frank Joseph, Sr. and Julia Elizabeth (Walther) Baumgartner.
Rose loved watching Hallmark movies, but most importantly, she loved being surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Due to the current health restrictions that we are experiencing only 25 people will be allowed to gather in the funeral home at any given time, facial coverings are a must, and physical distancing is encouraged.
Friends are welcomed on Saturday and Sunday October 3rd and 4th from 2 to 4 pm & 6 to 8 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. A Celebration of Life Service will be held graveside at Jefferson Memorial Park on Monday October 5, 2020, 9:30am. Online condolences may be shared at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
