Rosemarie Gavin, age 77, of Pleasant Hills passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Rose was preceded in death by her dear husband of 49 years Martin Gavin, her parents Clara (Matuszewski) Szczerba and Taddeus Szczerba as well as Read Obituary
We loved having Rosemarie in writing class. She wrote such lovely pieces from her heart (and with perfect grammar) I remember her writing about watching the eclipses, and think of her whenever there is one. We learned so much from her. She will be dearly missed.
Rose will be sorely missed, as my aunt I have many happy memories with her over the years, and am thinking of my family during this difficult time.
I will miss sweet Rose. I will miss playing in our Christmas Band. The girl's day out with her and her sisters. She was a kind and generous person. I was truly blessed to have known her.
