They were together for 68 years. She worked in the mill as 'Rosie the Riveter' while raising her two young children during the time her husband served in the army doing duty overseas during WWII. (Marjane) Spencer Jr. of Mondovi, WI and a daughter, Rose Ann (George) Zimmerman of Whitehall; grandchildren, Rusty, Jennifer (Tim) and Aimee (Anthony); great-grandchildren, Sam, Max, Alex, Kaleb, Presley and Averi Rose; as well as many beloved nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, John and William; and two sisters, Catherine and Roberta; and her parents Robert and Julia Johnson.
Rose was an excellent homemaker who loved to cook and bake. She made the best pierogies ever. She created many precious crocheted and ceramic treasures. She was witty and funny, even at age 100. Her loving and caring ways will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
