Ronald C. Johnson, Sr., age 86, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on October 14, 2025.
Ronald was born on December 17, 1938, in Pittsburgh, to Joseph and Louise Johnson, where he spent his life dedicated to his family and his work as a tree trimmer for Duquesne Light, a position he held with pride for an impressive 43 years. He was a respected member of the IBEW Local 1919 Union, where his contributions to the industry were both significant and valued.
Ronald had many passions that richly colored his life. He was an active hunter and traveler. He especially loved his trips to Pymatuning, and cruise shipping, exploring new horizons with excitement and vigor. His largest love, however, was his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, former spouse, Florence "Sally' Marion, daughter, Elaine and son, Ty.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Johnson, children; Ronald "Ronnie" Johnson, Jr., Robert "Bob" Johnson, Linda Rodman, and Katie Johnson, stepdaughter, Aislinn Dietrich, grandchildren; Randy, Samantha, and Christian, step-grandchildren; Jariel and Milani, and great-grandchildren; Cameron and Beckly.
