Ronald "Ron" Colaizzi's Obituary
Ronald S. Colaizzi, 59, of Pittsburgh, PA. passed away on September 14, 2025. He was born August 15, 1966 to the late George and Marlene Colaizzi.
Professionally, Ron dedicated 32 years of his life as a District Manager at RGIS, showcasing his exceptional work ethic. His career at JC Penney was marked by the same dedication and in 2020, he further demonstrated his versatile abilities as a Manager at FedEx https://Office.Ron had a passion for his favorite sports teams. He loved football and cheering on the TJ high school football team and the Raiders, as well as the New York Rangers Hockey team. His reputation for his fast pitch was legendary.
Ron radiated positivity; his friendly smile never faded and the kindness in his eyes and his infectious laughter could light up any room. He was the kindest soul, a gentle giant, and a man who loved dogs and his family above all else. Ron is survived by his loving partner Carolyn Koessler; "Step-Daughter" Samantha Koessler; brothers Robert (Andrea) Colaizzi and Michael Colaizzi; nieces and nephews Andrew, Samantha, Talia, Enzo, Brett and Cory.
He is preceded in death by his parents George and Marlene Colaizzi, and his sister Denise (Jeff) Clemente.
Friends and family will be received from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Friday, September 19, 2025 in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Park.
