Ronald John Carik, Jr.'s Obituary
Ronald John Carik, 46, of South Side, unexpectedly passed on February 13, 2017. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 15, 1970, to Ronald and Carol (Staskowicz) Carik. Ronald is survived by his brother, Sean M. (Victoria) Carik; his nephew and niece, Rocco Joseph Carik and Savanna Elizabeth Carik of Boynton Beach, Florida.
His beloved grandparents Marie and Joseph Staskowicz who have welcomed him home with open arms.
Ronald was known to his friends as "RC", his colleagues as "Jr" and his family as "Ronnie". Ronnie was also known as the "Gentle Giant" and he was the loyal protector of all his friends and brother. Ronald graduated from Baldwin High School in 1988 and earned his Bachelor's degree with Cum Laude honors from Point Park University. Ronald was employed at WHEMCO in West Homestead.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 pm to 8 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, 1 Grove Place, Pleasant Hills PA, Saturday at 10 am. Condolences may be left at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
