Ronald P. Bauman's Obituary
Ronald P. Bauman, age 79, of Baldwin, unexpectedly passed away on December 13, 2022.
Best friend and husband of 53 years to Kathleen (Kate) Scherer. Proud father of his two daughters who he described as "incredible" Amy (Larry) Forgacs and Erica (the late Robert) Balint. Pappy of Christian and Catherine Ronni Forgacs. Brother of Joe and the late Bryan Bauman. Special friend of Gary (Butchie) Patterson.
Ron was a proud Army Veteran. He served from 1962 to 1965. He has also been a member of the IUPAT Union #6 since 1965. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed many years of adventures and happiness with his family and friends. He loved being an uncle to his numerous nieces and nephews and telling stories to anyone who would listen. Most of all, his favorite part of life was being a grandfather to his "partner" Christian and his "sweet girl" Catherine Ronni.
Friends and family will be received on Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 2-8 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236. A Blessing Service will be held Monday, December 19 at 12 noon in the funeral home's chapel.
