Rogers Watson II's Obituary
Rogers Watson II, age 71, of Bethel Park, passed away surrounded by his loving family on February 24th, 2021.
Rogers is survived by his beloved Wife, Rosemary "Rosie" (Roach) Watson; his loving daughter Destiny (Adam) Day; and his three grandchildren, Dyson, Aria "Peanut", and Dahlia "Buttons" Day. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth R. Holly and Rogers Watson I and by his sisters, Elizabeth Brown, Susan Wiggers, and Candace Rising Sun.
Rogers was known as the life of the party. He was a collector of many things including, swords, knives, guns, pirate memorabilia, coins, and skulls. He was a man with a big personality and lived a life to match. Rogers was an easy-going guy and saw the humor in everything. He was an avid fisherman, an active member of his gun club, and was an accomplished craftsman. Family and friends describe him as full of laughter, fun loving, ready to jump in and help anyone who needed it, and a sweet and kind man. He was one of the most interesting people to have ever met and knew someone everywhere he went. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 1st, 2021, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021 at 11:00am, we will meet at the funeral home first. Condolences may be shared at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz. Due to the current healthy restrictions, only 25 people will be permitted in the room at one time and face coverings are required.
