Roberta S. Cuttler's Obituary
Roberta S. "Bert" or "Butch" Cuttler, age 96, of Trafford, PA, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 15, 2023, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, Wilmington, NC. She was born May 30, 1927, in Homestead, PA to Robert and Isabella Smith. In 1948 she married the love of her life, Fredrick “Freddie” Cuttler. Roberta was a longtime member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Trafford, PA, where she sang in the choir and participated in The United Methodist Women groups. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Roberta was a stay-at-home mom that raised and loved her two daughters. She was also very much loved by her six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Her “adopted” third daughter and very good friend, Jeanne Ruccio, was always there for her whenever she needed something or someone to talk to. Roberta was an avid Steeler, Pitt & Penn State football fan.
Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick (2016) to whom she was married over 68 years, an infant daughter, Linda, and her sister, Agnes Flinn. She is survived by daughters, Roberta (Jack) Eisinger and Barbara (Fred) Fike; grandchildren, Brad (Veronica) Mickey, Brian (Jennie) Mickey, Craig (Jana) Mickey, Kristin (Jeremy) Kirkbride, Jenna (David) Falcinelli, David Fike (Heather Bochonok); ten great grandchildren-Emma, Kayla, Collin, Taylor, Alexa, Joel, Olivia, Bria, Max and Jude.
Friends and family will be received on August 26, 2023 from 11 until 12 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh.
A Funeral Service will follow at 12 pm in the funeral home's chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401 or Trinity United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 407 Duquesne Ave, Trafford, PA 15085.
