Robert Pavlik's Obituary
Robert "Bob" Pavlik, aka Mr. Pav and Boogs, age 88, of West Mifflin, formerly of Liberty Boro, entered into eternal rest on January 27, 2021.
Robert is survived by his children, Dale R. (Trudy) Pavlik and Donna (Thomas) Staaf; grandchildren, Jennifer Pavlik, Jason (Dominica) Pavlik, Jessica Pavlik; great-granddaughters, Alexandria Pavlik and Anastasia Pavlik; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Dorothy (Stanchak) Pavlik; parents, Michael and Sophie Pavlik; siblings, Anna Prokop, Mary Wirth, Helen Pogen-Sudie, Michael Pavlik, Jr., John Pavlik, Emil Pavlik and Edward Pavlik.
Mr. Pav could always be found on Wednesdays at the Car Cruises. He always enjoyed golfing. He was proud of his shot glass collection which consisted of 401 shot glasses from all over the world. Mr. Pav could bring a room to laughter with his quick wit and endless supply of jokes.
On June 1st, 1957, Robert and Dorothy married. Together they loved to travel, especially taking cruises when they could. As longtime members of West Mifflin #3 Volunteer Fire Department they were always active in fundraisers and events. In their earlier years they enjoyed bowling with many friends. Every Sunday Dorothy and Bob could be found at the Blue Flame enjoying breakfast after Sunday Mass.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29th from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh 15236.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 30th at 10:30 A.M. at Blessed Trinity Parish, Holy Angels Worship Site, 408 Baldwin Road Pittsburgh, PA 15207.

In compliance with CDC guidelines, only 25 people will be permitted in the visitation room at one time. Please be prepared to wait outside. Everyone in attendance must wear a face covering.
