Bobby Nash's Obituary
Robert (Bobby) Nash, 64, of Cheswick passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family and friends, both in person and in spirit.
Bobby was born on June 29, 1961, the son of the late William and Gertrude Nash of Cheswick.
Bobby is survived by his brother Bill (Janice) and sisters Maureen (Jim) and Mary Lynn. He was an uncle to Christina, Adam (Marissa), and Kevin (Any), and great uncle to Brianna, Jocelyn, Chasidy and Christopher.
Bobby was known by many and loved by all in the Cheswick community, especially his backyard neighbors Jim, Janeane, Dave, and Tony, and his friends at Cheswick Floral.
Bobby was always active in the community, walking around the neighborhood, playing the daily lottery, helping neighbors with cutting the grass and doing miscellaneous work. About 15 years ago, Bobby moved out of Cheswick to Greentree to become part of the Verland family. Bobby's housemates and caregivers became a second family to him, especially Cindy who was like a second mom to him.
Bobby loved the Pirates, Pitt football, the Green Bay Packers, and any team who played against the Steelers. He enjoyed shopping, giving gifts to others, going out to eat, and spending time with family and friends. Bobby was quick to joke and make up nicknames for people he loved. And he made sure that everyone knew his birthday was June 29.
Bobby was so kind, positive, and generous to others, and always looked forward to the next party or get together. Throughout Bobby's life journey, he was blessed to have so many people show their love, compassion, and acts of kindness to help him have a wonderful and impactful life.
Family and friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
