Robert M. Lamars' Obituary
Robert M. Lamars passed away on Tuesday May 5, 2020. He was born on January 15, 1960 in Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania and was most recently a resident of Lakewood, Ohio. He is the son of the late George and Marie Lamars and is survived by sister Patricia (Darrell) Shipley, brother George (Joy) Lamars, brother Richard (Joy) Lamars, and sister Donna (Chris) Sparta. He will also be dearly missed by nephews George Ognag and Tony Sparta; nieces Rina Shray, Sara Houck, and Jackie Lamars; and many caring friends.
Bob was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and held a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. As a Divisional Technology Manager for Avery Dennison Corporation, he had the opportunity to travel the world. He loved to explore new places and share this passion for travel. Bob also enjoyed spending time outdoors at his cabin in Kennerdell, PA and creating the picture-perfect yard and fish pond at his home. He loved gardening and spending quality time with those he cared for. He never missed a family event, even if it meant making the 3 hour trip both ways in one day because of other responsibilities. Bob always made sure his family, including his dog Chuy, knew they were loved.
Bob was a kind, caring, fun-loving man with a sharp wit, a great sense of humor, a big heart, and a passion for living life. He is greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
