Robert DeVille's Obituary
Robert DeVille, 86, of West Mifflin died peacefully with family by his side.
Beloved husband of 52 years to Cheryl (Donovan) DeVille. Loving father of Kristen (Gregg) Palastro and Shawna (Brian) Aufman. Proud Grandfather of Brooke and Dylan Aufman. Brother of Father George DeVille, Mary Ellen (Bernard) Adamec, and Larry (Polla) DeVille. He loved being Uncle Bob to his many nieces and nephews and enjoyed visiting with them during holidays and special events. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, George and Mary (Wirth) DeVille.
Family was his entire World and he was so proud of the successes of his children and grandchildren. He retired from careers at U.S. Steel and the Hilton Hotel, but was "reemployed" in 2010 with the birth of his first grandchild. He thoroughly enjoyed watching his two grandchildren until they went to grade school. He was a former loan oversight committee member of the Century Heritage Federal Credit Union. God, Family, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and his Monday afternoon golf outings were his true loves in life. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army and loved attending the Army reunions even 50 years later.
Family and friends are welcome for Memorial Visitation on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 4 to 7 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills.
