Robert E. DeBold's Obituary
Robert E. DeBold, 89, of Brentwood, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 10, 1935, Robert was the son of Samuel and Ethel DeBold.
Robert worked as a millwright in the steel industry and worked at L.T.V. Steel Co. in Hazelwood until his retirement. Robert was well known in his community, often seen walking his dog in South Park with beloved wife Dolly, where he made many lasting friendships with those he encountered. His warm and approachable demeanor made him a cherished figure among neighbors and friends alike.
He will be missed dearly by his brother-in-law, Donald Brill; his niece, Suzanne Mathews; his beloved dog, Alby; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dolores "Dolly" DeBold; his parents; and his siblings, Joseph (Jean) DeBold, Brother John DeBold, S.V.D, and Ann Brill.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, September 5th from 10 A.M.- 12 P.M. at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road Pittsburgh, Pa 15236.
A Blessing Service will be held following visitation at 12 P.M. in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
