Robert Earl Curtiss' Obituary
Robert (Bob) E. Curtiss age 77; left this world peacefully on December 23rd 2024.
Bob was born on December 1, 1947 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of George Washington High School and the University of Pittsburgh where he was a brother of the Delta Phi Fraternity. He was a proud member of the US Army, the American Legion as well as the Masons Shriners. He worked as a social worker for the State of Pennsylvania until his retirement.
Bob was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing cards, and looked forward every year to going to the Jersey shore to join in his family reunions.
Bob was preceded in death by his loving parents Ken and Lillian Curtiss and is survived
by brother George K. (Patricia) Curtiss, sister Linda Curtiss Gehringer, nephews Andrew M. (Jeanelle) Curtiss and Matthew (Melanie) Gehringer, nieces Tracee Curtiss Zitnik and Melissa (Joseph) Gehringer Maiers.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Friday January 3rd from 10:00am to 12:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A funeral service will follow at 12:00pm in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
