Robert 'Bob' Collet's Obituary
Robert (Bob) T. Collet, age 80, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Bob embraced life with a spirit of spontaneity and humor. He enjoyed unforgettable road trips, the thrill of driving a harness race, and the camaraderie of tailgating with fellow Pittsburgh Steelers fans. His infectious laugh and playful nature brought joy to all who knew him. Whether he was illuminating the holiday season with Christmas lights or sharing a good joke, Bob always found ways to make others smile. His love for his family, including his grandkids and granddogs, was evident in every gathering, where fun was always a priority.
Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years Juanita Collet; daughters Robin (James) Joyce and April (Gerry) Delon; granddaughters Sydney and Madeline Joyce; brother Richard (the late Carol) Collet; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Merilda Collet.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, March 9 at 12:00 pm at Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Worship Site, 1 Grove Place, Pittsburgh 15236. Family requests that everyone meet at the church.
