Robert P. Bittner's Obituary
Robert P. Bittner, 77, of South Park, went home to be with Jesus on October 23, 2017. He is survived by his beloved wife, Frances Bittner; children, Mark and Melissa Bittner; grandchildren, Gavin and Grant Bittner, and Taylor, Brendan, and Alexa Morgan; siblings, James (Vicki) Bittner, Janet (Kathy Hamilton) Bittner, Nancy (Dave) Mackin, Bonnie (John) Crogan, Harry "Butch" (Donna) Bittner, and Susanne (John) Valdisera; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Rita Bittner. To all who knew him, Bob was a vibrant, funny, outgoing, generous soul who truly loved everyone in his life. He loved his Pittsburgh teams, traveling, electronics, and spending time on his boat and at the beach with his family. He will forever be missed. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 26, 2017, 2-4 & 6-9 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 27, 11 AM, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, South Park. Interment will follow at South Side Cemetery.
