Richard Joseph Smith's Obituary
Richard Joseph Smith, age 31, of South Park, entered into a peaceful eternal rest on January 28, 2020. Richard spent his time on earth spreading his love, his comforting smile and his contagious laugh to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. There was no doubting the love that he had for the people he chose to surround himself with. He was empathetic and selfless. Though Richard was no stranger to pain, he always had the strength to continue moving forward. Richard loved adventures and now that he has received his wings, he can soar higher than he had ever imagined. Richard is survived by his Adoring Parents, Tracy McKenzie Smith and Edward "Pete" (Bridgette Vogel) Smith. Loved Grandson of Carole Healy. Cherished Brother of Chelsey Smith, Trinity Hamler, and John Betz. Beloved Uncle of Jayden Smith, Cody Korff, Oliver Wallace, and Isaac Sarsfield; as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.
He is welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven by his Sister, Angela Smith and his Cousin, James Bilski.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020, from 1 to 8 pm and Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 10 am to 12 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236.
