Richard Keith Horn's Obituary
Richard K. Horn, age 78, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on May 24, 2026.
Rick's adult journey started in 1968 with the marriage to his beloved wife Gloria. They started a family and embarked on a 58 year marriage and a new career. Rick dedicated 43 years of his life working for ABARTA Inc. where he started as an Accountant at Coca-Cola in Pittsburgh and ultimately retired in 2011 as Vice President/General Manager of Cleveland Coca-Cola. Rick embodied the values of family, leadership, respect, hard work and perseverance. He acted as a mentor and father figure to multiple people to include some of his employees, family and friends.
An avid sports fan, Rick had a deep love for Pittsburgh sports teams, having attended the Steelers last 4 Super Bowls with his kids. He enjoyed many weekends on the golf course, creating cherished memories with friends, co-workers and his grandsons. He split his time joyfully between Jefferson Hills and Venice, Florida, where he embraced the warmth of the sun, beach, family and friends.
Rick is survived by his beloved wife Gloria Horn; children Richard Horn Jr. and Carey O'Neil; grandchildren Joshua Horn, Connor O'Neil, Caitlyn O'Neil, and Jordan Horn; son-in-law Ray O'Neil; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents William and Sarah Horn and his sister Patricia Callahan.
Family and friends will be received for visitation from 2-8pm on Saturday, June 13th, 2026 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10am on Sunday, June 14th, 2026 in the funeral home chapel.
