Richard H. Granger, 90, of West Mifflin, passed away on December 9, 2016. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on February 15, 1926, to Charles and Lillian Granger. Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 38 years, Florence Hirsh Granger. Loving father of Jacqueline (the late Ronald); Step-father of Christine Marie (James) Custer, Robert A. (Nancy) Hirsh, and Bryan M. (Sharon) Hirsh; Grandfather of Steven J. (Amanda) Custer, Bryan M. (Sari) Custer, Amy Hirsh, Tracy Hirsh, Scott Guye, and Katie Guye. Great-grandfather of Caleb, Colin, Erin, and Carson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Richard was a World War II Veteran, member of the Elks, and member of the Knights of Columbus.
Visitation will be Monday from 7-9 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 12:30 PM at Holy Spirit Church, West Mifflin. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Three Rivers Hospice Patient Care Fund, 1195 Jacks Run Rd., N. Versailles, PA 15137. Condolences may be given at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
