Richard R. Elstner's Obituary
Richard Elstner, age 75, of South Park, passed away surrounded by his loving family on July 8, 2020.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne (Presken) Elstner; two sons, Christopher Elstner, Jeffrey (Carly McCoy) Elstner; sister, Joanne Bauer; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and his pets that he adored.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Elstner, mother, Lucy Buntich, and a sister, Nancy Murick.
Richard was a family man. Spending time on the patio looking out into the woods with dogs, cats and family surrounding him made him happy. At the end of the evening, he would settle in his big comfy chair, with snacks at hand, watching television.
Traveling was always something Richard looked forward to, especially when the trip was to Europe. According to his family he was always on a seafood diet, if he would see food he would eat it!
Many may remember Richard as a volunteer at St. Joan of Arc where he was a member for many years. He also delivered Meals on Wheels in his later years.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2020, 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236.
