Raymond Smutny's Obituary
89, of Baldwin, passed away on October 1, 2017.
He is survived by his beloved Wife, Beverly (Geisler) Smutny; Children, Leslie (Timothy) Hensler, Marcia (David) Schweitzer, and Mark (Melissa) Smutny; Grandchildren, Melissa, Jason (Melissa), Joshua, Matthew, Sarah, Evan and Hannah; Great grandchildren, Madison, Jaxsun, Alex, and Emma Rose; Brother of Wenzel Frank Smutny and Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Raymond was an Army veteran of the Korean war. He worked at Mesta Machine Company and retired from Baldwin-Whitehall School District.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-8 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Pleasant Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary. Interment at Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church. Condolences may be left at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
