Raymond Thomas Large's Obituary
Raymond Thomas Large, 85, of Finleyville, PA. passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 15, 2025.
Raymond worked for many years as an Ironworker with the Local #3. In his spare time he was a small boat Captain and avid fisherman. He especially loved fishing in Naples, Florida where he was a frequent snowbird with his wife.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Marcia J. Large; children Raymond B. Large of Elizabeth, PA, Eric R. Large of Bethel Park, PA and James M. Large of Portland, OR; grandchildren James M. Large Jr. of Erie, PA, Jessica L. (Adam) Large-Mattozzi of Perryopolis, PA, Lauren E. Large of Bethel Park, PA, and Jacob Large of Pompano Beach, Fl; great-grandchildren Savannah Herrod, Elijah Herrod, Annabelle Mattozzi and Victor Mattozzi; brother James R. Large of Clairton, PA; and nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Austin L. and Grace Large; brother Austin Large; and granddaughter Erica R. Large-Herrod.A Memorial Service will be held at 6pm on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Be advised, there is construction happening on both sides of Curry Hollow Road. Please allow for extra travel time.
