Dad, I miss you so much!
From the time I was a little kid you were always there for me. So many wonderful memories! You taught me how to ride a bike, how to swim and hold my breath, open my eyes underwater and count your fingers! Such a fun dad you were! Not just for us but for all our neighborhood friends too ~ telling us ghost stories on the front porch on starlit warm summer nights, taking us for ice cream, making us an ice skating rink in our backyard, buying us bigger and bigger swimming pools until you got us the in ground pool!
Such an amazing dad you were! You bought us a travel trailer that we decorated with decals from all the state campgrounds we visited and even the World's Fair! I am so blessed and so proud to have you for a father! You made our house and yard so beautiful! Always taking care of it, painting it, building the porch, patios and driveway, and building a gorgeous cathedral ceiling sun room onto our home! You took such pride and worked so hard to take care of us!
I so appreciate the special times you spent with just me talking about life and work and God. I miss your voice! I called you every day and you always sounded so exuberant, joyful and full of life!
I love you more than you will ever know! Thank you Dad for being my rock, my hero, and now my Angel! May God Bless your peaceful journey to Heaven!
With all my Love,
Sherry
