Raymond L. Burner's Obituary
Raymond L. Burner, age 96, of Whitehall, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020.
Raymond is survived by his devoted wife of, 74 years, Yvonne Burner. Loving father of John (Lesya) Burner and Ronald (Leslie) Burner.
Cherished grandfather of Melissa (Steven) Musial, Amy (James) Mathieu, Shelley Rowe, and Rachel (Jeffrey) Adams; great-grandfather of Kaleb, Matthew, Owen, Cameron, Leo, Adelyn, Ella, and Quinn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Robert and Lydia Burner; and his brothers, Richard and Kenneth.
Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII in the European Theater. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting. Above all he was a devoted family man who will be dearly missed.
Given the current health restrictions we are currently experiencing, only 40 people will be allowed to gather at any given time, facial coverings are a must and physical distancing is encouraged.
Family and friends are welcomed on Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 10 am until 12 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. Due to COVID, Family has chosen to have a private service and burial. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Raymond to Tunnel 2 Towers at tunnel2towers.org.
